Ubernia Eduarda Luisa Solís Cabrera

Ubernia Eduarda Luisa Solís Cabrera was born in Matanzas, Cuba, in October 13, 1923. She died in Havana, Cuba, in June 16, 1974. She develops the Painting and Engraving. She no have academic education, because she's considered as a self-taught artist (received advice from Domingo Ravenet.)

Individual Exhibitions

She made various personal exhibitions, among them we can mention Exposición de Gouaches y Acuarelas, in the Lyceum, in Havana, in 1945. In 1971 she exhibited Uver Solís: Exposición, in the Centro de Información y Estudios de la Cultura, in Havana. And in 1992 she presented Uver Solís, Oleos, Temperas y Acuarelas, in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Havana.

Collective Exhibitions

She was part in many collective exhibitions, like Exposición de Pintura Cubana Moderna, in the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Mexico City, Mexico, in 1946. In 1955 she was included inPintura, Escultura y Artes Aplicadas. Cuba en Tampa: La Feria del Progreso, in Tampa, Florida. And in 1981 some of her works were selected to conformArtistas Populares de Cuba'', in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, in Havana.
