Parker & Sons Publishing was founded November 8, 2006 by Inga Parker. The company itself is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The mission for this entity is clear; it has been organized to: 1) Inspire the Talented; 2) Sponsor Charitable Causes; and 3) Publish Books & Music.
To date, Parker & Sons Publishing has pierced its way into the Performing Arts & Entertainment Industry with its first Book Release (The Struggle by Ms. Understood) in February 2007. The Struggle is a true story regarding the life of Cassey Jenkins. Cassey is a 23-year-old single mother of four children who survived an attempted [...] attack on Christmas Eve within the City of Chicago. As a result of the incident, she lost her left eye, all of her fingers, and all of her toes. The story itself pegged the interest of many and as a result, Parker & Sons Publishing has received support from JIVE Magazine, Barnes & Noble, DuJour Films, International Black Man Film Festival, and Luciano Pavarotti's insisted upon Cheryl Porter (an International Classical Vocalist). Since then, Parker & Sons Publishing continues to expand its growth beyond book publishing on the account of its close book-to-film and Gospel Music Project.
