Inga Grigorievna Lepsveridze, known as Inga Leps is an actress, filmmaker, writer and art advisor of Russian origin.
Biography
Inga Leps ( born Inga Lepsveridze) was born in Sochi, Russia to a singer-songwriter father Grigory Leps and a Russian mother Svetlana Dubinskaya. She graduated high school in Sochi and soon after moved to London to attend Goldsmith's University of London. After receiving her MA in 'Art Business' from Sotheby's Institute of Art she was working at Sotheby's Auction House in London in the Russian Art Department until she moved on to work for MacDougall's Fine Art Auction in Moscow; In 2012 she joined Volkhonka FIne Art in Moscow.
In 2010 she established Leps Art Advisory, specializing in art investment, representation and promotion of emerging artists. Working closely with New York based Milavec Hakimi Art she successfully organized a number of art shows in London for up and coming contemporary artists such as Paul Robinson and Rich Hendry. In 2012 she was invited to join an old masters art gallery Arader Galleries in New York. In 2014 she joined Pablo's Birthday Art Gallery in New York, focusing on contemporary emerging artists. Inga Leps writes a monthly art column in 'Tema' magazine, published in Russia. (under her full name - Inga Lepsveridze)
Acting career
Inga Leps has landed her first acting role in an Independent Russian feature The Gateway, () by Vladimir Uchaev when she was only 15 years old.
In London she worked as a principal on several films with prominent film directors such as Tant Lay and Peter Williams. In 2012 Inga Leps was accepted on scholarship to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts where she trained in Meisner technique for 2 years. She is represented by one of the largest talent agencies on the East Coast AbOUT Face Talent.
Her most notable part to date is in Diplo's music video 'Revolution' that has over 6 million view on YouTube.
In 2013 she co-wrote and produced a short film 'WaterRise' that was successfully funded through Kickstarter and is currently in post production.
In 2014 alone she was engaged in 9 film projects, working often with Independent European film directors.
