Mateo Torriente Becquer

Mateo Torriente Becquer was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, in September 20, in 1910. He died in Havana, Cuba, in August 21, in 1966. He develops the Sculpture and Drawing. Since 1931 to 1936 he studied in the Escuela Nacional de bellas Artes San Alejandro, in Havana, Cuba. In 1937 he studied in the La Grande Chaumiére, in Paris, France. And in 1946 he studied in the Workshop of sculptor Harry Elstren, in Belgium.
