Mahiro Yoshitake

Mahiro Yoshitake (; born 28 February 2002) is a Japanese freestyle wrestler. She won the gold medal at the 2024 Asian Wrestling Championships.

Career

In 2022, Yoshitake became the U20 World Champion in Sofia, Bulgaria, winning the gold medal in the 65 kg category. At the 2023 Asian Wrestling Championships in Astana, she won a silver medal after reaching the final, and the following year claimed gold at the 2024 Asian Wrestling Championships in Bishkek in the same weight class. In 2025, Yoshitake moved to the U23 level and won the bronze medal at the U23 World Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, competing in the 72 kg division.

In 2026, at the Asian Wrestling Championships held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, she advanced to the final by defeating Uzbek Sevinchoy Polvonova by fall while leading 4-0 in the quarterfinals and Indian Harshita Mor by fall while leading 7-2 in the semifinals. In the final match, she lost to China’s Long Jia 10-2 and won the silver medal.
