Pulicherla Subbarao

Pulicherla Subbarao was a Indian Telugu writer and author known for Telugu literature and historical writings. He served as a Telugu and Sanskrit lecturer at Jagarlamudi Kuppuswamy Chowdary College, Guntur. He was recognised for his historical, devotional and social works in telugu.

Family

Pulicherla Subbarao was born in 1940 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. His parents, Kotaiah and Kondamma, belonged to a farming family. He grew up with a brother, Sambasivarao, and a sister, Venkata Subbamma. In 1971, Pulicherla Subbarao married Shakuntala, who was born in Kurnool in 1953. They have three sons: Mallikarjuna, Siva Prasad, and Siva Prakash.

Education

Pulicherla Subbarao obtained Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees in Telugu, Sanskrit, and History. His expertise in Telugu literature, Sanskrit language, and Indian history contributed significantly to his works on historical, devotional, and social themes.పులిచెర్ల సుబ్బారావు
