List of My Little Pony Earth Ponies
The Earth ponies are ponies who have a special connection to nature and animals. They lack the ability to cast magic spells like the unicorn ponies, or the ability to stand on clouds like the pegasus ponies. Usually, they are the basic form of the My Little Pony toys.

Together with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, she formed the Cutie Mark Crusaders so they can find their place in the world. |style="border-bottom: 3px solid #FF00A4;" colspan="14"|Applejack is a member of the Apple Pony Family, who speaks with a Western American accent (most similar to that from the Missouri Ozarks). In the first generation special, she is a silly pony, always knocking over fences and looking over her shoulder to see where she has been. She loves apples and is frequently found in the Apple Orchard. In her first appearance (Rescue from Midnight Castle), she was one of four ponies to be corrupted by Tirek's Rainbow of Darkness in order to pull his chariot. She was reverted back to normal after Tirek was destroyed. Applejack is the only character in the whole toy line to retain her appearance throughout generations (excluding Generation 3). She then appeared again in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, using her updated Generation 1 Appearance instead of the Generation 3 one. Applejack is very dependable and down-to-earth, but also stubborn and a bit selfish. She wears a brown cowboy hat and is the only one of the six main characters who keeps her mane and tail tied back, instead of letting them fall loose. Applejack comes from a large family of ponies with apple-related names, spread all over Equestria, who oversee apple orchards and run a group of businesses to sell apples and products made from them. Applejack has demonstrated her strength and dexterity on many occasions, and she is also very skilled with a lasso. |style="border-bottom: 3px solid #FF00A4;" colspan="14"|Babs Seed is Apple Bloom's cousin and Applejack's Niece from Manehatten, introduced in the third season of the series. She arrives at the Ponyville train station, where Apple Bloom introduces her to the other Cutie Mark Crusaders, who then show her the clubhouse and their giant pumpkin float for the Float Parade. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon arrive shortly after and berate Babs for not having a cutie mark, which she seems self-conscious about. Ultimately, Babs makes fun of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, wrecks their float, and joins Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, Diamond Tiara commending Babs' "big city attitude". She then spends much of her time tormenting the Crusaders, who are scared of being "snitches" if they tell Applejack, and she even kicks them out of their clubhouse, forcing them to resort to drastic measures: Booby-trapping a float and enticing her to ride it herself in an attempt to ultimately humiliate her.
But on the day of the parade, the girls find out from Applejack that Babs was bullied in Manehatten, which is why Babs herself turned to bullying. After Babs is rescued from the sabotaged float, the four make amends, and Babs joins the Cutie Mark Crusaders, becoming the official fourth member and promising to start the Manehatten branch of the club. At the train station, she tells Applejack that she will tell her older sister about her being bullied when she gets back to Manehatten. Right before she returns home, she stands up to Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon when they start teasing the Crusaders again and manages to effectively subdue them.

He is one of two ponies in The Best Night Ever who pull the seven leading characters' carriage to the Grand Galloping Gala, the other being Lucky. He is happy to pull the carriage for Rarity, but when Spike whips him with the strap, he shows a great deal of annoyance, shared by Lucky. At this point, he also mentions that he is Rarity's neighbor. In Hearts and Hooves Day he is considered a suitable candidate for Cheerilee's date by Sweetie Belle until the "camera" pans to the left and reveals him rubbing noses with Wind Whistler. This causes Scootaloo to sarcastically remark that "his girlfriend sure thinks" he's acceptable. The male doctor in Read It and Weep shares Caramel's mane, coat, eye and tail color, but is a unicorn instead of an earth pony and has a heart monitor cutie mark instead of three horseshoes. William Anderson, the show's composer, has relayed to Equestria Daily that the music playing in the scene features a harp, two violins, and a cello, which pegs Octavia as a cellist. The show's director, Jayson Thiessen, figures the instrument is a cello as it is "more sophisticated and appropriate for the gala". Her official name is revealed in the upcoming My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Trading Card Set by Enterplay LLC.

In My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Pinkie Pie (Full name Pinkamina Diane Pie, according to her mother in her flashback scene in "The Cutie Mark Chronicles") is a party planner, very funny, talkative, and a bit air-headed. She also enjoys singing and playing pranks, sometimes with Rainbow Dash's help, but - showing her considerate side - will not play any on Fluttershy due to that pony's sensitive nature. In the episode called "Swarm of the Century", she makes a musician out of herself regardless of some other ponies' concerns about the Parasprites. Her behavior is frequently random and chaotic at times and she has been known to break the fourth wall. There is seldom a day without Pinkie's smile. She possesses the "Pinkie sense," an ability to predict events in the immediate future through twitches of various body parts. When she becomes sad enough, her mane and tail go from curly to completely straight and her pink coloration loses its brightness, matching her appearance during her unhappy youth on a rock farm before she earned her cutie mark. While she usually hops around, Pinkie is exceptionally quick when running, able to keep pace with and chase down a hurrying, airborne Rainbow Dash. Pinkie Pie's spirit is Laughter.

The three friends pranced up one end of the rainbow and followed the stripes to the other end, where they found a magical lake swirling with colors. Hot and tired from walking, the ponies dove into the beautiful water for a refreshing swim. When they came out of the lake, their bodies were covered with bright, bold streaks! Not only did they find where the rainbow's colors came from, but they also went away with pretty swirls of their very own! In Generation 2, Star Swirl is made into one of the Magician Ponies. In Generation 3, Star Swirl is an earth pony who loves to watch the night sky and look at the rainbow stars to make a wish. Also, she likes to look at the planets through a telescope every night. She was re-released in Generation 4, bundled with the European Release of Rarity's Royal Gem Carriage using her new appearance. A male version of Star Swirl was then mentioned by Twilight Sparkle, who bases her costume on his appearance My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic during Nightmare Night. In the animation, Twilight Sparkle refers to Star Swirl as a male and calls him Star Swirl the Bearded (Also pressingly making him a unicorn in the animation). As explained by Twilight, Star Swirl the Bearded is the Father of the amniomorphic spell and also the most important conjurer of the pre-classical era in Equestria, creating more than 200 spells. His only speaking role as an Earth pony is when he rejects Apple Bloom's offer of buying apples in Call of the Cutie, and gets pressured into buying one in return for getting her to leave him alone. He was placed in the scene by storyboard artist Sabrina Alberghetti for his colors and design. He makes a somewhat prominent appearance in Green Isn't Your Color, carrying Photo Finish's palanquin together with Twilight Sky. In The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, he makes another somewhat prominent appearance where he is in charge of spinning the hourglass that starts the competition between the Flim Flam Brothers and the Apple family. During this scene he wears a green tie. He was intentionally placed into the scene by the storyboarding supervisor for the episode. Time Turner later appears a few times in Hearts and Hooves Day. He is seen running past Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle while accidentally splashing mud on them in the musical sequence. He reappears in Apple Bloom's imagination while running around in a panic, as well as in three village shots, once standing next to an unknown stallion and twice standing next to Derpy on the bridge. He also appears in It's About Time, laughing at Twilight Sparkle's idea of time travel. His latest cameo was in A Canterlot Wedding Part 2, as he was seen running across the street from a changeling. His first official name is revealed in the upcoming My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Trading Card Set by Enterplay LLC, while his second name is been confirmed by Hasbro. His fan-name, Dr Whooves is a shout-out to the one of the doctors from the British Sci-Fi series Doctor Who.
