Isabelle Kaif

Isabelle Kaif or Isabel (born Isabelle Turquotte, March 22, 1986) is a British film actress and model who appears in Canadian films also.

Born in Hong Kong, Kaif and her family lived in several countries before she moved to London. She is the younger sister of film actress and model Katrina Kaif.

Early life

Isabelle Kaif was born in Hong Kong, China with her mother's surname Turquotte (also spelt Turcotte), on March 22, 1986. Her father Mohammed Kaif is a British businessman of Kashmiri Indian descent and her mother Suzanne, (also spelt Susanna) is an English lawyer and charity worker. She has seven siblings: five elder sisters (Stephanie, Christine, Natasha, Melissa and Katrina Kaif), a younger sister, Sonia and an elder brother, Michael. Katrina Kaif is also a film actress and model known for her work in Indian films. Kaif's parents divorced when she was a child, and her father moved to the United States.

Due to their frequent relocation, Kaif and her siblings were home-schooled by a series of tutors.

Career

At the age of fourteen, Kaif started her career in the media industry as a model and did several commercial advertisements. In 2013, she moved to the acting and making her debut with the film SUMMUM Bonum as Emma. In 2014, she appeared in the Canadian romantic comedy Dr. Cabbie alongside Vinay Virmani as Simone.

Isabelle also starred in a short film Coming Home against Harshvardhan Kapoor, directed by Steven Roy Thomas. She has been signed as the "New Lakmé face" by "Lakmé India" by the end of the year 2017.
