Stella James

Stella James (born December 17 1988) is a British model. Amanda is based in Dunstable, UK.

Early life and family

Stella was born in December 1988 in Luton and has lived there all her life. Her childhood was a little difficult as her father walked out years ago and moved miles away leaving Stella's mother to raise three daughters, one of which suffers from ADD. Stella was removed from school at 14 due to stress in the home affecting her education.

Stella left school with 4 GCSE's and attended college completing a level 3 course in childcare.

Early Modeling

As a child, Stella attended Stagecoach and many various theatre courses along with tap and ballet classes. Being on stage has always been Stella's dream. Her mother was a singer for many years and helped with a lot of voical training. Stella has appeared in many different musicals as a child including Guys and Dolls and The Wizz.

Around the age of 11/12, Stella was chosen as lead singer for a band named 'kidpower', they recorded 3 singles, one of which was played on a local radio station.

After little success with a 5 member children's band, Stella was picked to play the main part 'Jessica Smythe' in a children's pilot TV show named 'Double Trouble' AbOUT a young girl with 'magic powers'.

At the age of 15, Stella's main focus was her education and achieving GCSE's then moving on to college. At around 16/17, Stella decided to have a go at modelling and therefore partnered up with friend Emine to produce a set of photos for a portfolio, the interest was great and so she produced a few more sets from different photographers and continues to do so.

After many difficult years at home and bad experiences with the entertainment industry, it has not stopped Stella from wanting to carry on.

Current status

Stella is now 19, out of education and has more time on her hands, singing, modelling and acting will be her main focuses and any requests in those areas are highly appreciated.
