Gemini is a proprietary web-based issue tracking system and bug tracking system provided by CounterSoft, Ltd.
Technology
Gemini is based on Microsoft's .NET Framework. It is developed using C#, ASP.Net,and Microsoft SQL Server. Gemini supports integration with Visual Studio, Outlook, Subversion (SVN) and Windows Live Messenger.
User Base
Gemini is used by over 5000 customers. significant open source projects that use Gemini for their issue tracking include DotNetNuke and SharpDevelop. Many large organizations use Gemini to manage software products and other products like car dealerships. Among them are National Health Service in the United Kingdom), Motorola, Dell and Domino's pizza.
History
Founded in 2003, CounterSoft initially created Gemini as a free product. Version 1.4 was the first stable release and version 1.5 was the first commercial version (at 50 GBP).
License
Gemini is a proprietary software, but a free 3 user license is available as well as for non-profit organizations and open source.
Awards
Gemini was an award winner in the 2009 Code Project Members Choice Awards.
