Armoured Vehicle Tracked Light Repair (AVTLR), have been developed in india by Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment and is based on hull of tracked SARATH (BMP-2) retaining its amphibious, high mobility, and rugged design. Externally hull remained unchanged, but there are no loopholes for small arms. It is Designed and equipped to carry out on-site repairs in the battlefield. On the roof in the central part of the rotating platform it is fitted with a light hydraulic crane boom. The Vehicle is also equipped with a winch, welding units and other necessary equipment.
