Zee M Kane

Ziad Muhmood Kane (born 8 October 1982) is the CEO of technology focused media company The Next Web.
In 2009, Kane was listed by The Daily Telegraph as one of the top ten most influential users of Twitter. In 2011, he was also listed by The Independent, as one of the top ten most influential Twitter users in the UK.
Personal background
Kane was born in Kuwait to an Iraqi father, ME Muhmood, and an English mother, Rhoda Muhmood. He has three brothers, Laith Muhmood, Khalid Muhmood, and Tareq Muhmood.
Kane's family reside in England, Iraq, Singapore, Vietnam, and Kuwait. His parents reside in Kuwait, and serve as the managing directors of Kuwait English School. His brother, Khalid Muhmood CBE, is the co-founder of Apollo Education and Training and the British University Vietnam, and resides in Vietnam. Tareq lives in Brunei and works as the CEO the international financial group, HSBC Holdings.
Kane resides in the United States, with his wife, Elizabeth Muhmood Kane, a wedding blogger.
