Zanimana the Blue-eyed Cat is a popular novel series by Anastasia Hinton written at the age of nine. In a series of three and a series of ages and writing strength, It lets us look into the "Darwin Chart" of a child's writing. Plot overview Zanimana, a young she-kit, is considered a misfit. She soon stumbles upon a strange visitor and is forced to leave her home. After a strange dream, she is soon taken under the wings of Sammie and Trixie, two hyper Alley cats with a vast variety of streetsmarts. They discover that the man has a secret that could change the lives of the city cat clans. The second book tells us of Zanimana's brave battle against a ghostly tom cat who haunts the alley, and the appearance of a long-forsaken soul. It also shows Zanimana's hidden powers of wind. The third book reveals a hidden army who has been hiding the information Zanimana needs, and the war that started over it. Zanimana also joins the Orginazation XVI. |
