White Gurl is the eleventh track on E-40's 2006 album My Ghetto Report Card. It features Juelz Santana, and UGK members Bun B, and Pimp C. It was produced by Lil Jon. It is beginning to be played on some urban radios. Although it samples Mighty Casey's BET Uncut hit "White Girls," it is about yola and not about white women. in the song he says i got dat white, gurl. this means he is trying to let everyone know he has it cause he's slangin. The song is about the production and sale of crack cocaine. Each of the rappers talks about facets of the business, from manufacture to sale to distribution and back again. In the tradition of Rick James' "Mary Jane" the song uses women almost interchangeably with drugs and can be said to be the cocaine version of the same song. |
