We Mean Business is a forthcoming hip-hop album from EPMD, to be released sometime in late 2008; there is no set release date, but it will be released on EPMD's imprint of Universal when completed. It comes seven years after the release of the group's previous album, Out of Business, and like all their previous albums will be largely produced by Erick Sermon, though one track has so far been done by 9th Wonder, possibly to feature Def Squad cohort Keith Murray. Two tracks, "Run It (Remix)" ft. KRS-One and "Blow," have so far leaked to the internet.
According to the group, the record will feature KRS-One in an appearance separate from "Run It," which may not be included on the album; the new track featuring Kris is called "They Tell Me." Redman, Mobb Deep, and Raekwon are also confirmed; Erick and Parrish are currently waiting for Ghostface Killah to record a verse for the Raekwon song. They also confirmed that there will be another 'Jane' song in keeping with EPMD tradition, and that this one features Devin the Dude. Another frequent collaborator, DJ Scratch, will not have any production on the album this time around.
