Petrol Exotic

Petrol Exotic is an Australian independent record label, launched in June 2008 by the music entrepreneur and former manager of INXS, Chris Murphy.It can be described as a multi-media provider based on international influences and global perspectives. The label releases music compilations based on countries and major metropolitan cities around the world. Notable compilations included a series of music based on major metropolitan cities, labeled The Sex, The City, The Music. In addition to launching music compilations, Petrol Exotic produces 20 minute history lessons and language lessons. The first installment of the history lessons was Che Guevara: Hero or Villain?. The language lessons taught cuss words and pick up lines in French, Spanish, Mandarin, and Italian.

Chris Murphy

In 1979, Chris Murphy discovered INXS and managed them for 15 years. He led them to sales of more than 30 million albums; INXS received international acclaim and are still a brand that exists today.
