Vougar Garadaghly () (born 24 November 1966 in Bakou, Azerbaijan). Chief editor of all 10 publications of Qur'an in Azerbaijani language (translated by academicians Ziya Bunyadov, V. M. Mammedaliyev). Author of transphoneliteration Veten dili (, Native Language) (2007), a 19th century textbook, the first textbook of the Azerbaijani language. Author of Tajweed (2012). Assistant professor Arabic Philology Baku State University. In 1999-2006 General director of a media-holding composed of Lider TV (from 2000), Lider FM (from 1999), newspapers Bizim Esr (from 1999), Nash Vek (from 1999), Our Century (from 1999). Son of Aydin Garadaghly (), great-grandson of Ghasanaliagha-khan Garadaghi (). |
