VMLite XP Mode

VMLite XP Mode is a feature offered from VMLite Workstation, developed by VMLite, Inc. VMLite Workstation is based on the popular VirtualBox OSE project.
Microsoft added a special feature in Windows 7, called Windows XP Mode, which allows Windows XP to run as virtual machine in Windows 7. However, Microsoft XP Mode requires the processor to have hardware virtualization features, namely, the processor must have VT-x or AMD-V enabled. The main difference from VMLite XP Mode is that it does not require such advanced processor features, so it can run on old computers.
