As the day passes, Visayas Typhoon Center launches its first website on October 20, 2011 replacing the name of Philippine Typhoon Center. The site is open for the public viewing. Visayas Typhoon Center Center provides information, tracking and a satellite images of a typhoon. The site also has may reliable sources namely: PAGASA, JMA, JTWC and also Typhoon2000.
As tropical storm Ramon traverse Central Visayas, VTC provides its own satellite picture of Tropical Storm Ramon. The area bounded at the Visayas Typhoon Center are 4°-21°N, 117°-136°E.

Except for PAGASA, Visayas Typhoon Center gives also a rainstorm warning whenever a weather disturbances or a tropical cyclone affects the Philippines..
Rainstorm Warning no.3-> means that there will be a heavy rainshowers and heavy thunderstorm in a particular place or area. These are very extremely dangerous to all people living along the mountainous area that may cause flashfloods and landslides. Residents from lowlying areas should take the precautionary measures. Color of the warning is "RED".
Rainstorm Warning no.2 -> means that there will be a moderate to heavy rainshowers and heavy thunderstorm in a particular place or area. These are very dangerous to all people living along the mountainous place or area. These are dangerous to all people living along the mountainous area. Flashfloods and Landslides are very possible. Residents from lowlying areas should take the precautionary measures. Color of the warning is "BLUE".
Rainstorm Warning no.1 -> means that there will be moderate rainshowers and thunderstorm in a particular place or area. These are dangerous to all people living along the mountainous place or area. Flashfloods and Landslides are possible. Residents from lowlying areas should take the precautionary measures. Color of the warning is "YELLOW".
