This is a list of the weather forecast websites in the Philippines. They are maintained by both organizations, groups, weather agency, individuals. These websites have topics related to weather. Weather sites PAGASA Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration called in the Philippines as PAGASA. Created their website at 2004 and maintained by the Philippine Department of Science and Technology. PAGASA provides it's site weather forecast, weather outlook, press release and learning tools. Typhoon2000 Typhoon2000.com (with back-up domain names such as: "www.typhoon2000.ph" & "www.maybagyo.com") is a website which provides "easy-to-understand" tropical cyclone information over the South China Sea and Northwest Pacific Basin (from Malay Peninsula - 100° E up to the International Date Line - 180°). This website is updated every 6 hours (12pm, 6pm, and 6am Philippine Time ~ UTC+8) during times of tropical cyclone activity except 12am Philippine Time (to be included if Tropical Cyclone will pass over the Philippine Islands or close to Bicol Region). This site is owned by David Michael V. Padua called "Mr. Typhoon" in Philippines. Joint Typhoon Warning Center Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) is also a tropical cyclone and weather website in Philippines and Pacific Ocean. Joint Typhoon Warning Center also gives information for the 24-hour potential development of a tropical cyclone. The website provides tracking of a typhoon from Malay Peninsula to 180th meridian east. Japan Meteorological Agency Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) gives also an information and weather map for Philippines and the Pacific Ocean. Sa Gitna ng Bagyo Sa Gitna ng Bagyo (The Center of the Tropical Cyclone) is a news blogger that updates information from Pacific Ocean and Philippines. This website are under the school organization in Metro Manila. Philippine Meteorological Department Philippine Meteorological Department (PMD) is a website that provides weather forecast, outlook of weather and tropical cyclone archives in 2011. As of now the website is offline. This website is owned by Michael Williams Sr. Visayas Typhoon Center Visayas Typhoon Center (VTC) provides weather forecast, tropical cyclone or tropical disturbance update to the public. VTC provides also a 3- hour update of tropical cyclone, whenever when a tropical cyclone may threatens Central Visayas especially Cebu and also a track of a tropical disturbance that may threatens Visayas especially when a low pressure area might move in westerly direction at the east of Mindanao. The area bounded by VTC are 4°-21°N, 116-136°E while 3 hour update for the area bounded around 8°-11°N, 123°-127°E. The name Philippine Typhoon Center has been replace to Visayas Typhoon Center.
