A "Den Pop" is a featured culinary item at the Discount Den, a popular convenience store at Purdue University. Den pops are also featured at the Den's location near Western Michigan University. The Den Pop is a soda based beverage that can be modified to include a variety of flavors. While most convenience stores promote the sale of drinks, the Discount Den markets their Den Pop as low cost beverage that allows the consumer to choose which sodas are included in the drink. They encourage this type of liquid innovation by posting multiple drink combinations on the wall by the soda fountains. These cocktails include, but are not limited to:

* The Sorostitute
* Big Man On Campus
* The Indecision
* Many other catchy-named concoctions
If you spike your Den Pop by adding liquor, it is then referred to as a "Fun Pop".
Den Pops are sold in two sizes, a super large(44 oz) $0.75 version and a large(32 oz) $0.60 cup. Due to the low prices, Purdue students frequently make "Den Pop runs" and are willing to wait in large lines for this delectable treat. Many buyers pride themselves in creating unusual drink combinations, which can act as a creative experience that draws customers back to the store for another fun Discount Den trip.
