Partnerpedia is a software company that provides large and midsized enterprises with app marketplaces, solutions and . Based on a SaaS architecture deployed in the cloud, Partnerpedia markets its solutions directly to IT customers as well as to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and vendors of any industry type under private label. Previously known as Constructive Media Inc., the company officially changed its name in March 2010 to reflect its history and extensive experience in helping large enterprises to maximize business through partner strategies and enterprise mobility management solutions. Customers include Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, VMware, Research In Motion and Citrix Systems. The Community Marketplace The Partnerpedia Community Marketplace was announced in September 2010. Community Marketplace allows vendors and manufacturers to quickly deploy enterprise app stores and solutions marketplaces to customers seeking complete solutions, while providing value added partners and developers with a go-to-market channel for sales and marketing. Examples of vendor supplied marketplaces include the Apple AppStore, SAP EcoHub, and Salesforce AppExchange. However, instead of having to custom build a marketplace companies can turn to Partnerpedia for a private label, SaaS solution that can be instantly deployed in the cloud, such as Cisco System's AppHQ and the Alcatel-Lucent AAPP Factory. Mobile App Management Mobile devices and mobile applications are making its way into enterprises at a pace like never before. Spawned by corporate executives, sales and marketing professionals, as well as BYOD (bring your own device) policies, today’s IT organizations face a daunting task trying to support a complex mixture of devices, platforms and applications.. Partnerpedia's solution strikes the balance between giving end-users what they want, and providing IT the level of control required to meet corporate policies and procedures. It is a strategic tool that can help address many of the challenges arising from the “consumerization of IT” and of the consumerization of the enterprise — the movement among employees to rely on their personal smart phones and tablets instead of their company's standard-issue laptops and desktops. Enterprise AppZone In October 2011, Partnerpedia announced it would launch a cloud-based product called the Enterprise AppZone for corporate IT: A self-service solution for organizations that want to procure and manage vetted business mobile apps. This announcement was made shortly after Partnerpedia conducted a survey of organizations that found an overwhelming number of respondents stating they viewed the adoption of enterprise app stores as an opportunity to leverage the licensing, distribution and management of applications across multiple end-points. The Enterprise AppZone offers organizations a secure, centrally-controlled system to curate, distribute and manage mobile apps on end-user devices. Especially suited for corporate BYOD policies, end-users experience the familiar, consumer app store style they're used to but from a secure, internal corporate app store and without the invasive approach offered by some solutions. The Partnerpedia Community Established in July 2008, the Partnerpedia Community is an independent, free, online community that is used by technology vendors as well as solution providers. The Partnerpedia Community was originally designed to enable partner-to-partner networking with potential or existing partners all focused around driving business. Businesses can publish resources like white papers, pricing and case studies and make them available securely to partners. The Partnerpedia Community features discussions, messaging and collaborations where businesses can connect with partners. The community also provides lead management capabilities which helps companies track and manage customer opportunities. Relevant Social Networks *LinkedIn *Twitter *Facebook *GooglePlus
