Veygo is a subsidiary of the Admiral Group and provides temporary car insurance aimed at younger drivers. Veygo was launched in 2017, in just seven weeks, to meet the demands for short term car insurance as car ownership began to decline across multiple markets. When Veygo launched they adopted a Lean project management approach which helped them grow rapidly over the following 12 months. History In 2020 Veygo offered NHS staff a substantial discount on temporary car insurance to help them through the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021 Veygo highlighted the effect of the Covid Pandemic on drivers’ insurance policies and how this could lead to drivers being uninsured for certain journeys. Veygo has also worked with TikTok influencers to highlight the Dutch Reach method of opening a car door. This helps keep road cyclists safe by encouraging drivers to look over their shoulder before reaching to open their car door.
