Untitled debut album by Jason Castro

American Idol 7 third-runner up and singer-songwriter Jason Castro will release his debut album in the fall of 2009.
Production and Guest Appearances
It has already been confirmed by Castro's record label, Atlantic Records, that he is writing with Kara DioGuardi, Guy Chambers, Martin Terefe, Dave Lichens (a member of The Heavy Steadies), Jason Reeves, Sacha Skarbek and Espionage.
On June 23, Castro confirmed on his Twitter account that he was in the recording studio, working on a duet with Canadian singer and Juno Award-winning singer-songwriter Serena Ryder It is unknown, however, if Castro and Ryder's duet will appear on the album.
It was also confirmed by Castro and his younger sister Jackie from their twitter accounts that Castro recruited younger brother Michael and Jackie for background vocals on the upcoming album. There is a possibility of vocals also being provided by Castro's girlfriend, Mandy Mayhall, as well.
No songs or singles have been publicly confirmed for the album, however, the song "Love Uncompromised", a song Castro was scheduled to perform on the eighth season of American Idol and release on iTunes, will most likely be included on the album. Also, Castro gave an interview for Entertainment Weekly, mentioning that the songs "It's All Right With Me" and "Sweet Medicine" were two songs he was "feeling good about".
