Twin Engine Productions HB

Twin Engine Productions HB was founded in 1997 in Stockholm, Sweden, by twin brothers Kent-Ove and Nils-Erik Lindstrom and is dedicated to the publishing of rare and out of print literary works by famous authors. Among others, Jules Verne, H. G. Wells, Lewis Carroll, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Jane Austen.

Twin Engine HB started out as an illustration company but soon entered desktop publishing and TV and internet media. They have contributed as researchers to the Swedish tv programme "Mosquito", hosted and created by Thomas Gylling, a famous Swedish DJ and artist. The programme won the Prix Italia in 1998/99.

In 1998 Twin Engine became the first Swedish publisher ever to produce and publish a comic book in a digital format on the internet: "Dr Iblis and the Mummy". With the help of Egyptologist Gabriella Jonsson, and thorough historical research, "Dr. Iblis and the Mummy" was, as far as possible, historically correct. Hieroglyphs and legends were for real. Even the depicted Egyptian magic was true to ancient beliefs.
