TripHobo (formerly JoGuru) is a travel planning website. TripHobo runs on an algorithm that helps a traveler to plan their trip by taking into account a number of key factors like accommodation, restaurants, tourist attractions and transportation. The company has over 100,000 Itineraries generated every month and is growing at 25 per cent a month. History The company was founded in 2012, by three friends- IIM Lucknow graduate Praveen Kumar, Mdi gurgaon graduate Saket Newaskar and IIM Indore graduate Karthik Ramachandra. The three worked together at HCL Technologies in Noida as senior management trainees. The three founders felt the need to introduce a concept like TripHobo to the world after they found that there was a need for a comprehensive trip planner that lets you create your own customized itineraries. Funding The company raised a funding of $3 Million from Kalaari Capital and Mayfield Fund in 2015. Partners TripHobo has tie-ups with Amadeus, , Zomato, Skyscanner and Booking.com to offer services to its users. Awards & Recognition TripHobo was selected as one of the 'Top 10 Startups' for Winter Batch 2015 by Microsoft Ventures from over 1800 applications.
