Ematic Solutions

Ematic Solutions is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company headquartered in Singapore. The company was founded in 2012 by Paul Tenney, a Stanford University graduate and entrepreneur who is now based in Singapore. Ematic provides solutions to help marketers improve their performance across digital marketing channels, using hard data and analytics.
Ematic Solutions works with a number of e-commerce merchants within the Southeast Asian region from its office in Singapore, and has development teams in Europe and the United States. Its portfolio of clients includes luxury good e-commerce provider Luxola (acquired by beauty giant Sephora), online fashion store Berrybenka, and lifestyle marketplace Bobobobo. As of 2015, the company has more than 50 clients in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.
History
The company was launched in Singapore in 2012. It raised an initial $215,000 in angel funding in January 2013. Ematic is now backed by venture capital firms 500 Startups, Wavemaker Partners and Convergence Ventures, as well as MDI Ventures, a corporate venture capital initiative by Telkom Indonesia. A seed round funding of $1.07 million (S$1.5 million) was announced in December 2015 Shortly after in February 2016, the company opened its second office in Jakarta, and received close to $1 million of Pre-Series A funding, taking its total funding to over $2 million

Ematic Solutions offers a suite of applications that focuses on building and deploying high-ROI email marketing programmes. Ematic uses a “Plug and Play” artificial intelligence engine that integrates within a company’s existing system, such as MailChimp
