YourStory is an online news portal that covers entrepreneurship, startups and their investment activities. It primarily covers indian businesses that are startups and promotes entrepreneurial ecosystem. YourStory was founded by Shradha Sharma in 2008. Some of the other products by YourStory include a startup jobs board, an online startup database called YSPages and a market research product called YS Research. TechSparks TechSparks is an entrepreneurship summit hosted by YourStory. It is one of the tech startup showcase event in India. It began in 2010 and is where some technology startups launch their products and services competing on stage in front of venture capital potential investors and other interested parties for prize money and publicity. Investments YourStory is backed by Ratan Tata. It has raised $5 million Series A funding from Ratan Tata, Kalaari Capital, TV Mohandas Pai and Qualcomm Ventures in August 2015. |
