Travertine Mart

Travertine Mart is an American direct importer, wholesaler and retailer of travertine flooring products headquartered in Hallandale, Florida. The company was started from a home-office in 2007 by Evrim Oralkan, who initially began purchasing inventory from other companies in Florida. He then resold the pavers online to clients in other states, where travertine pavers were rare and cost more. Since then the company became a direct-importer and has been on the Inc. 5000 list between 2012-2014. Travertine Mart was featured in DIY Network's Vanilla Ice Project in 2014. Its main retail competitors include Home Depot, Lowe’s and Build Direct.
Technology
Travertine Mart has created a Virtual Patio Designer for travertine paver products, which led to a nomination for the 2013 Edison Awards.
Philanthropy
Travertine Mart has worked with two Miami-based charities: Lotus House Shelter, which provides support for homeless women, youth, and children, and Locust Projects, which promotes the arts and assists local artists.
