The Tall Pines

The Tall Pines are a folk rock duo from Brooklyn, NY. Connie Lynn Petruk sings and plays drums on a suit case. Christmas Davis plays guitar, sings and writes songs for the band. Their self-titled debut album was hailed as one of the top ten best records of 2007 by NPR’s Meredith Ochs, and music from The Tall Pines second album “Campfire Songs” was featured in the 2010 film “The Virginity Hit,” produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. The Tall Pines performed at the 2013 in NYC. They have also performed with Norah Jones and Puss n Boots, Country Music Legend Charlie Louvin, The End of Love featuring Nels Cline and Jody Stephens.
