The Seventh Dawn

The Seventh Dawn is a neo-folk musical project from Melbourne Australia featuring Susan McCarter (born 16.1.1963), who formerly found success in Australia as a country music artist and winner of the 1996 Black Opal Songwriting competition, and Chris McCarter (born 17.11.1970) of the seminal darkwave band Ikon. The brother and sister duo created one album that was released on Nile Records Australia and Apollyon Records Germany The Age to an End Shall Come in 2000. The album was recorded, performed and produced by Chris McCarter with Susan McCarter on vocals.
Susan McCarter continues to perform live under The Seventh Dawn name with several guest musicians, while Chris McCarter is focusing on Ikon.
