Lil june aka la punta chow

Junior Jose Alvarez (Born July. 25, 1993) more known as LiL JunE AkA La Punta Chow, is an Garifuna-American Punta rock/international artist, singer-songwriter, entertainer, dancer, arranger, music producer, choreographer, actor, businessman, musician, and philanthropist. JunE release his debut Album and being the first youngest Artist to do what he did in 2010. June's debut album, "Let's Do this" was a promotional/sailing success, Giving more than 700 copies in 3 months. He was the best Garifuna new Artist of (2010). The album earned June's fame quick. He got signed to skm records in May (2009). He begin touring in the late 2010. His second studio Album "La Punta Live!" was released August 5th 2012 and became one of the best Garifuna selling Album of June's career. Solded many copies. The Album garnered his fame even more in (2012).
Throughout his solo career. JunE has been the first youngest Garifuna Artist to tour around the world. He did 3 tours such as Punta madness tour, Faiya haat tour alongside Supa G and "La Punta live!" tour. He's now beginng to work on his first official worldwide Studio Album "The new Chapter" That will be release in 2014! As he claim "This is the album that i had dream about for many years and is finally coming to life".
Early life
June was born Junior Jose Alvarez on July 25, 1993 in Kings County Hospital Center, the area of Brooklyn, New York. The last child of Julia Ramirez, a Home Attender and Jose Alvarez, A Musician and Equip system worker. June's mother is from Honduras and his father is from Honduras and Belize. June has 4 sisters: Melissa, Melissa, Joann and Nilda and 4 brothers: Nelson, Niln, Manny and Beto. June had expressed that all his family did not know who he was and did not want to be around him as a child. His parents did not tell everybody in the family that he was here. He grew up without any guidance, Being lonely most of the time, struggle to learn the right things and basically raised himself. Throughout his childhood, June begin to listen music from his parents playing records every Saturday morning, going to all the kids party and seeing his father play drums in a live band name Estrellas Ubou in the late 1990s. JunE follow his father's step and begin to love music. Break dancing and practicing every morning before going to school. JunE was a child that would steal, stay outside late, punch kids for no reason, cut class, curse and threated people. He never had somebody to guide him the right away. He had to figure things out on his own. In the year of 2004 He decided to drop all the negative things down to become a positive and take his music career serious. JunE enroll in The urban assembly school for the performing art of Harlem, New York at the age of 15. He graduated in 4 years at the age of 19.
