The company was formed in 2007 by Michael Paul in Bangalore, India. Indian Traffic Network is part of the International Traffic Network, whose mission is to develop new media traffic businesses in Asia and the Middle East. Indian Traffic Network provides traffic and news reports on radio and television across all major cities of India. Indian Traffic Network's media currently reaches the cities of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore and Kochi. Indian Traffic Network has working partnership agreements with police and other authorities in India for the dissemination of information free to the public. Indian Traffic Network is also expanding its product offering through integration with telematics, developing sophisticated technology to provide real-time and personalised traffic reports directly to smartphones and other portable devices.
