Sir Doosky aka The Doo (born Eric Ortega, January 24, 1978) is an American musician whose main works include guitar & songwriting for the Los Angeles band The Generators, in which he is an original founding member. As of 2013, he formed the The Dead N' Gone with song writing partner Brandon Lutz on bass, Sean Romin on guitar and Dirty Ernie on drums. A member of the final line up of Schleprock before their disbandment & the birth of The Generators. He had also made many guest appearances with Pistol Grip both live and on recording. Sir Doosky got his start with Schelprock in early 1997 upon the departure of Rhythm guitarist Jeff Graham. After recording their first 3 songs "City Of Angels, Freedom & Yankee Boy", the band decided to change the band name to The Generators. They signed a deal with LA punk rock label Triple X Records and there started an adventure & career with the band that would last 13 years, 4 record deals, 7 full length albums & 2 EP's. His last performance with The Generators was February 19, 2010 @ The House Of Blues, Hollywood along stage with The Damned. Sir Doosky mainly plays Gibson Guitars. Mainly a custom black beauty Les Paul, but has also appeared with an ES-345 & White SG Standard. He uses Marshall, Fender & Vox amplification along with an array of vintage pedal effects.
