The Sunset Sound were a British Indie Pop band formed by Jon Courtney in Reading in 2000. Debut single "Moving" received mainstream radio coverage and was released to critical acclaim , with the band playing the 2001 Reading Festival before splitting in 2002 due to the band members feeling that the style of music did not accurately represent them.
