About The Group "The Silver Movement" is a MySpace Music project started in 2007 by two New Jersey locals. Their first single "Trouble In The Moshpit" was released on to their MySpace and turned a lot of local heads. A remix done by Norwegian DJ, DJ Celan, was released a few months later in preparation for an iTunes release. After nearly 2 years of trying to get their music on iTunes. The Silver Movement came across WaTunes (an online music distribution service) and began talking to the CEO of the company, Kevin Rivers. Within weeks the "Trouble In The Moshpit - Single" was released onto iTunes. Following the release of their first single, The Silver Movement released 2 more. "Sleepless Beauty", the groups 2nd single made it's way onto iTunes shortly after. The Silver Movement's 3rd single,"Distant Love" made it's way on to iTunes as well. In May 2009, The Silver Movement was interview by WaTunes.com on it's success and popularity growth. Current Projects The Silver Movement is currently working on 3 major projects for release on iTunes. * I Kissed A Girl - Single: A cover version of the Katy Perry song. Expected release date: July 2009 * Lost On The Dance Floor - Remix EP: An EP containing remixes of both current and upcoming track by The Silver Movement. Expected release date: Summer 2009 * The Voice Within: The groups debut album featuring their past singles as well as new studio recordings. Expected release date: November 23, 2009
