The Red Tape

The Red Tape is probably the most famous mixtape that DJ Quik recorded during the late 80s. He began his career making mixtapes with his friends Hi-C, AMG and 2nd II None; thanks to these mixtapes he gained a record deal with Profile Records. Real Doe is infamous for being the song that started the long-running dispute between DJ Quik and MC Eiht.
