Simon Goosey is an Australian rules football player. Simon is a player for the Mornington Football Club in the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League of local fame for having kicked over 1,500 goals including 10 seasons of over 100 goals. He has a cult following in Victoria, Australia. He is considered a similar vein to VFL/AFL star Gary Ablett, although he never reached AFL level despite spending 2 years in the Richmond Football Club Under 19s list. He has participated in AFL Legends Matches, where his skills at 40 have matched many of the past greats of the game. |
