The IV

The I.V. is a fictional bar and restaurant on the TVNZ soap opera Shortland Street. It's located across the road from Shortland Street Hospital. Many of the staff from the hospital drink and dine here. Shortland Street Hospital parties are often held at the I.V. The name of the bar and restaurant is most likely to have come from intravenous therapy (IV), due to the fact of its location opposite the hospital. The I.V. is where Jay Copeland used to work before she was murdered. It is owned by Kieran Mitchell, who was temporarily helped by Libby Jeffries in order to attract more customers by having a salsa night. |
