Ban Heung Lau

Ban Heung Lau () is a restaurant in the Nam Fung House of Nam Shan Estate, one of the Public housing estates in Shek Kip Mei in New Kowloon on the North Eastern Kowloon Peninsula of Hong Kong. The restaurant provides both Chinese and Western food and even special fusion food. Most of its patrons are the students of the universities and secondary schools nearby, and also nearby residents. Therefore, Ban Heung Lau is relatively popular in comparison with local competition.

History
Ban Heung Lau is a Chinese restaurant opened in 1979 in Shanghai. In order to attract more people, it became a restaurant with the mixed of Chinese and Western savor after the redecoration in 2002. The renewal of the restaurant successfully fascinated more people, especially those young people and students from the approximate secondary schools and universities due to its accessibility and acceptable price.In 2011, the owners of Ban Heung Lau were invited to have an interview by the U Travel Magazine. It was deemed that its popularity started spreading over the city from then on.

Ban Heung Lau has one open location. It is approximately a ten minute walk from both the City University of Hong Kong and the B2 exit of the Shek Kip Mei Station of Hong Kong's . Its proximity to both contributes to its appeal.

The service hour of Ban Heung Lau is from morning till midnight. Similar to the older Cha chaan teng chain, Ban Heung Lau provides different types of meals during breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and mid-night snack periods.
