The Greatest Man in the World

"The Greatest Man in the World" is a song performed by the Bee Gees in 1971 on the LP Trafalgar.
"The Greatest Man in the World" was a Barry Gibb composition, recorded in 6 April 1971, with "God's Good Grace" and a Maurice Gibb composition "Country Woman". The song is a ballad. It was another track written by Barry on the album along with another ballad number "Don't Wanna Live Inside Myself".
The song is about the singer heard his/her voice, and he never heard a sound like that before, and the singer wants to hear it more and more, and the singer says to his/her, 'take me to heaven'. On the chorus, the singer said to his/her that he is the greatest man in the world, because he say the got the greatest girl. On the second verse, the singer said, before he saw his/her face, he never saw a dream like that before, and he wanna see it more.
On the start of this track, no drums was heard, only the voice, guitar and piano was played, but on 0:43, the drums was heard until the song was ended. Near the end of the song, Barry's voice gets higher.
It was performed by Barry and Maurice Gibb in an interview as an unplugged version.
