Tongo lizard

The Tongo lizard is a nocturnal lizard. They are about 4 cm long at birth and can grow up to 1 meter long at adulthood. In adulthood, they do not reproduce with other lizards, but reproduce themselves.
The Tongo lizard lives in the Sahara desert and makes a burrow in the sand as its home. In the daytime, it comes out into the sun and it looks for food. It eats small mammals and insects. They drink 1 liter of milk a week and eat about 38 leaves per day. They are usually blue and green with red spots on its tail, but vary in bright colors.
The tongo lizard has an unusual habit of dancing when it comes out into the sun. As it lives in the desert, the sun heats up the sand and when the Tongo lizard comes out to hunt, it cannot stand on the hot sand for more than 3 seconds. So to keep from getting its feet burnt, it hops around and "dances."
