Stefan Solea (born September 25, 1983) is an American songwriter, performing artist and stunt actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. He recorded 4 demo albums from the time he was 16 and independently released his first studio album in 2011 entitled "Activated". After appearing in numerous feature films & TV shows as well as working as a motion picture studio mechanic Stefan enjoyed success from a career in the film industry.
Stefan became an overnight success with his creation and documentation of the worlds first medical marijuana energy bar on MTV's "True Life: I'm in the marijuana business".
He spent years honing his skills as a professional entertainer & performer while he became a master marijuana horticulturalist in the high dessert mountains of New Mexico. After becoming nationally recognized for his work in the medical cannabis industry Stefan decided to leave it behind for a career in music & film.
Stefan opened-up for Kid Cudi at the first ever American Cannabis Cup in history held in Denver, Colorado where his world famous "Buddha Bar" competed against other medical cannabis infused food products.
Stefan became a SAG AFTRA union stunt actor as well as an IATSE 478 union motion picture studio mechanic and has numerous motion picture film credits.
In 2012 he formed and became the front man of Trap Devil, A high energy band fusing punk, techno and hip hop.The band recorded one studio album and had some short lived success before there break-up after the death of bassist Jeremy "13" Young.
Stefan became known for a small role he had in the block buster hit film "Focus" with Will Smith & Margot Robbie.
Stefan released a mixtape in 2014 entitled "6 String's & 4 Four's". It was a collection of guitar driven hip-hop anthems with a feature from YMCMB artist Brisco.
At the end of 2015 Stefan started work on a new full-length studio album with DJ Stride entitled "A Hustle & A Dream" which is set to release in the summer of 2016 under his own Dirty Southern Hollywood Imprint.
