Scott Lykins, professionally known as Spinz, is a multi talented rapper, producer, actor and athlete born in Oxnard, California. A former member of Hollywood bad boy Brad Renfro entourage and the former frontman of the legendary L.A. band Dirt Farmers. Spinz in his early career was known for his cameos in independent movies and for his unforgettable stage performances and antics. Spinz is currently known for his work with hip hop producers such as Georgia Anne Muldrow, Koolade and legendary techno DJ and producer Umek on his self owned independent record label Vibra Music Group. In 2007 he was named to magazine's "Next 1000" artists list alongside Amy Winehouse , Souljah Boy and others. Spinz has released 2 commercially successful solo albums, Spinz Life, Love and the Low End in 2007 and This Is What It Feels Like in 2009 which features songs in 5 different languages. In 2010 "Rosa Espanola" was the first song Spinz recorded and released in Spanish. Spinz 2011 single "Gamez Featuring Famous Fame" was featured on ESPN Sports Center, UFC Highlights Show and has remained #1 on Reverbnation.com Charts for the longest running time in site history, the song was also mastered at Abbey Road Studios. Spinz appears in the upcoming movie "Shanghai Gypsy" directed by Marko Nabersnik where Spinz plays a prisoner in 1950's Sarajevo, the movie is set for release in Early 2012.
