Nick Hoffman

Nick Hoffman, born September 18, 1979, is an American recording artist, musician, and songwriter. He is a member of the country music trio THE FARM and a former member of the Kenny Chesney band. Hoffman has performed with such artists as The Steve Miller Band, John Mellencamp, Trace Adkins, James Otto, Tim McGraw, Sara Evans, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn and more. Hoffman is from Nowthen, Minnesota where he grew up in a musical family singing and playing fiddle. He ran away from home the fall of 1996 of at the age 17 to Branson, Missouri to pursue being a career in entertainment.
Hoffman is primarily known as an innovative fiddle player and singer who has worked to further the awareness and broaden the boundaries of the fiddle. In 1998, Hoffman joined the Minneapolis based midwest touring band High Noon and performed with them until New Years Day 2000 when he moved to Nashville.
Hoffman toured with Kenny Chesney in his Band on Fiddle, Guitar, BGVs from 2000 to 2012. He is featured on several of Chesney's Studio albums, music videos, and the [http://www.kennychesneymovie.com/ "Summer in 3D" Theatrical Release and DVD].
In 2005 Hoffman recorded with rock band 3 Doors Down and was featured on Violin and Banjo on the song .
Hoffman signed a publishing deal with Nashville-Based in 2011. In 2012, Hoffman released THE FARM debut album from his group THE FARM INC that he co-produced with Danny Myrick. In 2012, Hoffman won the Country Music Association CMA-SRO Award for Touring Musician of the Year.
