Space Penguins of Tuscumbia

The Space Penguins of Tuscumbia are a group of extraterrestrial beings reported by farmer Claude S. Edwards, who claimed to have encountered a UFO hovering in one of his fields close to his barn in Tuscumbia, Missouri, on the morning of February 14, 1967. According to his description, the craft looked like a huge "mushroom" which was perched atop a circular tube and its metallic surface seemed to be smooth and seamless. Edwards stated that he saw strange grayish-green creatures looking like "penguins" standing beneath the UFO with either big wide-set black eyes or wore black goggles and that they also wore gasmask-like devices where they "beaks" normally should have been.
