Gananoque haunting

Frank Edwards was an everyday farmer who lived a normal life for the longest time in little Gananoque Ontario until the raid on Gananoque during the war of 1812 changed his life. He was forced to leave his family and defend his town. When the raid was over he suffered from shell shock. He told his wife he was hearing voices in his head to do terrible things.
On the date of January 6, 1813, Frank Edward awoke in the middle of the night and strangled his wife to death with his bare hands and shot his two sons to death was his rifle as they slept. During the same night, he went from house to house as they slept and slit the throats of the people inside.
Frank Edwards killed a total of 17 people that night including his own family. The next morning he was fine, no voices, back to normal. After realizing what he has done, he went into the barn in his back field which is now the Gananoque Cemetery and hung himself. Even untill this day various houses in the town of Gananoque have been reported haunted and there have been reports of a man wondering the grounds in and around the Gananoque Cemetery.
A film based on this true event is set for production in the year 2012.
