Daniel Estrem is an American guitarist, ukulelist and mandolist. He is one of the few artists other than John King to have an all-classical ukulele album. He also has two classical solo mandola albums Biography Estrem was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and grew up in Fergus Falls, MN. He began playing piano at age 5 and classical guitar at age 11. He studied guitar with Dr. James F. Condell in Moorhead, MN and Jeffrey Van in St. Paul, MN. Dr. Estrem is a past music faculty member of Macalester College, Augsburg College and Hamline University in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. His musical spectrum ranges from classical, jazz and popular music.
