Soniya shetty

Soniya Shetty Singh (born October 15, 1986) is an Indian model and entrepreneur who holds various beauty pageant titles- the most recent being Mrs. Commonwealth International Asia Pacific Runner Up in 2016. At 6 feet 2 inches, Soniya is one of the tallest models in the industry. As an entrepreneur, she owns Weva fashions, an ethnic wear store for men and women.
Soniya was born in Mumbai and shifted to Pune in 1993 after Mumbai blasts out of safety concerns and new business venture prospects for her father. She completed her schooling from Mount Carmel Convent High School in Pune and her MBA from Pune University, now Savitribai Phule Pune University.
She also has a great deal of experience in the corporate world in the Human Resources department.

Personal Life
Soniya is married to Om Prakash Singh VP of Syska LED Lights and has a four year old daughter Shanaya. Belonging to South Indian Bunt (community), her love story is similar that of the movie, Two States where the couple - one hailing from Northern part of India and other from Southern fought against all the odds to tie the knot. While the society from which Soniya hails from is a matriarchal one, Om Prakash Singh’s family is a very traditional one. He has a political background and is a native of Bihar. It took them three years to convince their parents. They finally had a Bunt destination wedding.
Soniya is the elder daughter of late Subhash K Shetty, who was an Hotelier and Jayanthi Shetty who passed away recently. Her younger brother Dev Shetty too is an Hotelier.
