Scram Jones is a songwriter and record producer. He has often worked with the rap superstar N.O.R.E. During a session with N.O.R.E, his beats caught the attention of Mariah Carey, and together the two co-wrote and co-produced the track, "Your Girl" on her 2005 album, The Emancipation of Mimi.
Jones was formerly signed to Sha Money XLs record label Sha Money Management. Although gaining mainstream recognition for his beat-track producing abilities, Scram is known as a hip-hop triple threat (Beats/Tables/MC). The 2004 release of the "Loose Cannons" mixtape featuring many well-known hip-hop artists as well as a number of underground rappers also saw a number of Scram's own rap tracks. The gritty street style coupled with the one-liner delivery of rhymes makes Jones' style a unique and interesting addition to a market many critics see as being clogged with carbon-copy artists.
